Client Services

Private Client Relationship Manager
Description:
Silicon Valley Capital Management is currently interviewing talented outside sales professionals to join our Private Client Services team. In this position, you will be responsible for initiating and managing relationships with high net worth clients. The objective of this position is to generate new relationships and develop existing ones. Duties include lead generation, prospecting, and regular face-to-face meetings with clients/prospects. You will interface directly with the portfolio management team and operations department on a daily basis in order to service the accounts effectively.

Requirements:
Qualified applicants must have strong presentation/business writing skills, experience in aggressive account acquisition and a willingness to work hard. You should have proven sales experience, preferably in the securities industry, and possess the drive to succeed in a competitive industry. Corporate Operations

Assistant Portfolio Manager
Description:
This position involves working closely with other portfolio managers/research analysts and traders. The Assistant Portfolio Manager will handle all aspects of portfolio account management, which include adhering to clients' directives, overseeing the set-up and review of strict guidelines (compliance), and facilitating communication among portfolio managers. Other areas of responsibility include processing authorizations to buy and sell securities after ensuring compliance with internal and external guidelines, producing mock portfolios for client contributions and distributions, working with portfolio managers to ensure client withdrawals are met and allocations are invested, and attending research calls.
